Curriculum Design of an External MBA Degree Program for the Working Adults in the Mainland China (Article written in Chinese)

Abstract

In 1980’s, Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree Program originated from Harvard University of America, The concept of MBA Degree was subsequently introduced to the mainland China. In the last two decades, there were different MBA degree programs running in the Mainland. In recent years, External MBA education has been mushrooming rapidly. However, some of them could not suit the economic development of China as they were not designed for working adults in the Mainland. Asia International Open University (Macau) was one of the foreign universities running External MBA degree program in the Mainland. It has accumulated rich experience in the curriculum design of MBA degree program. Stemming from its experience in adult education, this empirical-theoretical Research explores the curriculum design of an External MBA degree program for the working adults in the mainland China.
