The Centre for University & School Partnership (CUSP) was established in 1998 to foster a mutually beneficial relationship between The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the school sector and to promote all-round and quality education in Hong Kong.

In the past ten years, CUSP has established partnership with over 600 primary and secondary schools under the auspices of the Quality Education Fund (QEF) thrice. CUSP commits itself to support schools in implementing comprehensive development projects by means of healthy collaborative relationships and a self-refining mechanism, towards quality education. Since its inception, CUSP has launched different school development projects under the collaboration of full-time school development officers, colleagues from Faculty and the Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research.

c USP is commissioned by Eduatiion Bureau to provide professional services to 200 schools/service units through a "Parnership for Improvement of Learning & Teaching(PILT) PRoject" from 2004 t0 2009.

Again in 2009-2010, CUSP is commissioned by the Education Bureau to launch a “School Improvement Project (Early Childhood Education) 'and' Support for Transition to Implementation and Leadership & Liberal Studies' with the Dept of Lineal & lustration.
