This paper emphasizes the necessity and importance of lifelong education through a review of human development theories and lifelong education concepts. It is recognized that each individual has to cope with his/her life tasks and to resolve crisis in every life phase. Thus a systematic, hierarchic and integrative lifelong education must be planned. In other words, vertical articulation and horizontal integration of lifelong education must be taken into consideration. In order to reach the aboved goal, four suggestions have been discussed in this paper as follows: (1) How to enhance the function of family education and early childhood education; (2)How to develope the projects of compensatory education and to strengthen the provisions of parenthood educatoin; (3)How to establish a system of lifelong education with multiple types of educational provisions; (4)How to plan a curriculum of lifelong education of human development oriented.
