Universities’ Idealism and Talent Cultivation (Article written in Chinese)

Abstract

Universities’ idealism is a kind of value pursuit and mental state which is held by university for its mission, responsibility, objective and personal integrity. Its essence is to uphold truth, pursue beauty, support kindness and deal with concrete matters. As universities’ basic value and subjective function, talent cultivation is the foundation of the universities and the basic logic of the existence and development of the universities. Universities’ idealism is good for the cultivation and formation of the students’ firm scientific belief, refined cultural accomplishment, lofty morality personal integrity and high sense of responsibility.
