Abstract
This paper examines the perceptions of both teachers and pupils of the introduction of the word processor into a year seven level classroom. Teachers and pupils were questioned on the computer' use, the responses were analysed, and conclusions drawn to assist teachers in the effective introduction and use of the computer in the classroom writing program.
