Is there any kind of channels that I can make more people know about my seminar/message ?

Sure. In general you have 4 ways :

(1) Send message to all CUHK student/staff through mass email service

To do so, you should visit the homepage of ITSC for details at http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/itsc/about/mass-mailing.html. What we want to remind here is that ITSC requires 7 working days to process such mass mailing request.

(2) Send message to all faculty staff through Email

To do so, please forward your email to computer_room@fed.cuhk.edu.hk and we will arrange the broadcast. The ETU requires 2 working days to process this service.

(3) Post to CUHK Homepage

You can add a hyperlink to the main homepage of the CUHK. When you submit your request to ITSC, you should also prepare a small pciture whichwill be shown inside a rolling banner. The hyperlink will be hosted for 2 wekks. To use this service, you should prepare :

(1) a small graphic picture (200 pixels wide x 60 pixels tall) in form of GIF or JPG format. The file size must be smaller than 7K bytes.

(2) You homepage address of the hyperlink when user click on your picture

Then, send your information to ITSC anton-lam@cuhk.edu.hk and they requires 3 working days to process the request.

(4) Post to Faculty homepage

Your message will be shown as a pop-up windows whenever our visitor reach our homepage. To request this service, please prepare your message file to us. The ETU requires 2 working days to process this service.
