How to access my access when I traval oversea ?

The email fowarding service will he helpful to you when you are planning for an oversea trip and you want to access your email oversea. The services will forward all your new email messages to another email account specified by you such as Faculty Web Mail page, Yahoo or Hotmail address so that you can read/reply your email ouside campus. Of course, it is necessary to disable the services when you come back to Hong Kong. Otherwise, you will not receive any emails from the campus-wide email account.

The whole process can be done by yourself or you can request ETU staff to help you to do you. However, it is necessary for us to have your own campus-wide email password before we can help.

The necessary procedures are listed as below:

STEP 1:	Go to the web page http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/itsc/directory
STEP 2:	Select the "Modify Tools" as shown below.
STEP 3:	Login to the system with your email username and password
STEP 4:	To forward your email to another email account :
Original Setting
Input your new email address
	Finally, input your campus-wide email password into the "Password" box and click "Sumit" button to confirm the changes. The email forwarding service effective immediately. Done.
	To cancel your email fowarding :
Existing Setting
Change to normal setting (b??????@mailserv.cuhk.edu.hk)
	Finally, input your campus-wide email password into the "Password" box and click "Sumit" button to confirm the changes. The email forwarding service effective immediately.   Done.
