How to read my email when I was away from Hong Kong ?
As most of our staff have Email Account either provided by the ITSC CUHK or Faculty, you may still want to access your email when you are away from Hong Kong. To do so, you have two alternatives:
(1) Using Faculty Web Mail service
Before you leave Kong Kong, you can contact our staff to do an Email forwarding (similar to your mobile phone forwarding) so that all your new email will be forwarded to the Faculty Web Mail server. Once the forwarding has been done, you can read/send your email by using Web browser no matter anywhere you are. Once we cancel the forwarding service when you are back, everything will then back to normal. To use this service, please contact our staff at least 1 working day beforehand.
The web mail server address is : serverb.fed.cuhk.edu.hk (Use your Windows 98 Login username and password to login).
(2) Read my email with Netscape.
