The programme comprises three areas: (a) Core Component: Theories of Chinese Curriculum and Instruction, (b) Elective Component 1: Chinese language subject knowledge and teaching, general theories of Curriculum and Instruction, (c) Elective Component 2: Research methods and practice. Students have to complete 9 units, 6 to12 units and 3 to 9 units from these three areas respectively. In addition, all students are required to meet the requirement of IT proficiency prescribed by the University. Courses to be offered include:

Class Schedule
There are two terms in one academic year. Term 1 is from September to December, while Term 2 is from January to April. Classes are usually offered in the evenings of Monday to Friday, and on Saturday mornings. |
