1. Notes for Applicants

Applicants should state the area of study they wish to apply for in the box of "Proposed field of studies" on the application forms , and submit it with a paper on "Objectives and Outline of Study", in Chinese or English. The paper should include:

• reasons for choosing the general stream or other specialized area of study;
• demonstration of a basic understanding of the specialized area of study, if applying for programmes with specializations;
• description of how academic pursuit, as proposed, will enhance professional capacity;
• future career plans.
