Formerly served as secondary school teacher and senior instructor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Courses currently taught include Subject Curriculum and Teaching (Chinese Language), Subject Curriculum and Teaching (Putonghua) and Putonghua.

Research interests include Teachers’ Beliefs, Curriculum Change and Implementation, Curriculum Leadership, Chinese Language and Putonghua Teaching.
