Served as teacher, mathematics and computer studies panel chairman, vice-principal principal in secondary schools, senior lecturer at Hong Kong Institute of Education, and publishing manager in an educational publishing house. Courses taught include Multimedia Courseware Development, IT in primary and secondary education, Learning and Teaching Theories related to IT in Education.

Research areas include teaching and learning with IT, multimedia learning, virtual learning community and spatial ability in learning geometrical shapes.
