Previously Lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic, Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Language in Education (now renamed the Hong Kong Institute of Education), Senior Public Education Officer of ICAC, and graduate assistant at The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. Courses taught: Subject Curriculum and Teaching (English), Methods of Teaching English in Primary School, The Second Language Curriculum, English Communication Skills, ELT Curriculum Theory and Design, Language Awareness. A member of the Hong Kong SAR's SCOLAR Committee (Standing Committee on Language Education and Research) and various other committees, including the Government's Vetting Committee on Language Degree Qualifications and Quality Education Fund subcommittees.
