文憑(浸會)，碩士(Wagner)，博士(Illinois, Urban-Champaign)。曾任幼稚園、小學、中學教師，中學輔導員，香港青協輔導心理學家、突破輔導中心總監，北京師範大學、中山大學、蘭州大學、華中師大及U. of North Texas客座教授。任教學生輔導與性教育等科目。

研究範圍包括輔導與心理治療、學校輔導、學校訓導、青少年心理與群性發展、性教育、兒童遊戲治療、邊緣青少年和香港年青娼妓問題等。
