Formerly teacher in secondary schools in New Zealand, Head of Science in Ming Yin College and Head of Department of Education of Hong Kong Technical Teachers College.

Research is primarily related to the improvement of learning and teaching at the secondary and tertiary levels.  Interests include: the use of multimedia for teaching, the use of the internet for both learning and teaching, the evaluation of teaching performance as well as problem solving in Chemistry.
