Going Above and Beyond: ELED Graduates Publishing Papers in SCOPUS-indexed Journals
We are pleased to share with you the recent achievements in academia of our 2019 graduates, Angus Cheng and Wayne Yip. Angus has published two academic articles, “School-based Assessment and Assessment for Learning: An Exploratory Study of Hong Kong English Teachers’ Practices” in The Journal of AsiaTEFL and another “Medium of Instruction in Hong Kong Secondary Schools: Integrating L1 in English-medium Classrooms” in Asian Englishes (Both indexed in SCOPUS). Wayne’s paper (co-authored with Professor Arthur Tsang) “It means one more piece of homework!: Learners’ demotivation in EFL extensive reading” has also recently been accepted in The Journal of AsiaTEFL.
