The IT Laboratory 4 is a newly
set up classroom designed for the teaching and learning of Language
Education. The facilities inside this classroom provides a fully digital
environment for language learning. Multiple language learning systems
including software based and hardware based have been integrated together

the teacher PC
26 identical student booths available and each booth installed with
1 networked PC (Pentium IV, 512M RAM, DVD/CD-RW combo drive) with up-to-date
software installed, optical mouse, 1 audio tape recorder and 1 dedicated
headset with microphone
Rich AV equipment including central control system, digital visualizer,
DVD/VCD player, VHS player, wireless microphone, hidden ceiling speakers
and audio cassette tape player1 projection screen and 3 plasma TV for
maximum visibility.
6 movable workbenches for discussion with maximum flexibility
1 networked B/W laser printer
Services
All computers inside the laboratory will be refreshed monthly in order
to ensure the stability and consistency of all computers.
Additional computer network ports and video ports are installed under
the raised floor. This help to make life easier when end user need to
set up a DV CAM to do video recording
3 plasma displays are available at the back of the laboratory. In
case of special needs, these display can show contents different from
the projectors.
