15-year-olds students are randomly selected to participate in HKPISA involved with test and questionnaire. Selected students will be representing Hong Kong in this very important international survey.

By taking the test, they will demonstrate what they can do in reading, mathematics and science near the end of their compulsory education.

By taking the questionnaire, they will provide information on their background, beliefs and opinions on issues that generally relate to their learning, school experience and career development.

 

Things to Do

Since the content of the assessment is mainly about general knowledge, the students do not have to prepare before the test.

The test requires the students to:

* analyze texts and graphs;
* understand writers' stances and opinions;
* find out possible solutions for real-life problems;
* express their viewpoints effectively.

Complete the test and student questionnaire on the test day.
