IMPLEMENTATION OF "COMPUTER-BASED TRAINING FOR READING AND COMPREHENSION IN CHINESE" PROGRAMME IN SECONDARY CLASSROOMS: A CASE STUDY

Abstract

An experiment was carried out in a secondary school to incorporate the "Computer-based training for reading and comprehension in Chinese" programme into the normal teaching schedule of F.1 calsses last year. This paper reports the experiences gained by the teachers in implementing the computer-supported learning programme in their classes. Their comments on the computer software, feedback of the students, problems encountered in fitting this programme to the normal teaching schedule and suggested solutions are discussed.
