Effects of Personality on Learning and Teaching

Abstract

As we know, intelligence and personality are the two major psychological factors affecting the learning of pupils and the teaching of teachers. Whilst many scholars would already have a good knowledge of intelligence, they may not have a clear understanding of personality, This paper aims mainly to introduce the concept and types of personality and its effects on education, It also attempts to point out its importance in relation to selection, streaming, guidance, teacher training, and the application of teaching methods.
