Sing Lai CHAN, Kevin Chung Wai LUI and Joseph C. TSANG

Abstract

One of the missions of HKIED is to produce quality students with the personal qualities necessary to become successful teachers, and one of the aims of education is to cultivate ethical and responsible citizens. It is therefore of great importance to see whether our teacher trainees have conscientious judgement in these bioethical issues. This pilot study intends to investigate the attitudes of HKIED students towards various bioethical issues and whether such attitudes are affected by their backgrounds.
