Mr. Ngan is a Registered Educational Psychologist (H.K.) and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (U.S.). He is also a Suicide Prevention Specialist endorsed by the American Association of Suicidology. He served in the school districts in Washington State, university psychological centre in the United States, and private psychological services centres and schools in Hong Kong. He was also an Applied Behavioral Analyst in the United States and Hong Kong. He is experienced in providing various service for children with special educational needs (SEN), including psychoeducational evaluation, counseling, and skills groups (e.g. Specific Learning Difficulties, social skills training, and leadership/gifted training). In addition, he provides consultation to schools and families in order to support the individual learning needs of the students. In 2017, Mr. Ngan was Certified to be the international Paediatric Autism Communication Therapy (PACT® ) Trainer in Hong Kong, and started to provide PACT® to local families and offer train-the-trainer workshops in Hong Kong. Currently, he continues to promote positive psychology to support the development of their growth in all areas.
