Welcome to the Department of Educational Psychology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. We proudly uphold a robust tradition of conducting both basic and applied research in various areas of educational psychology, such as human development, learning sciences, special educational needs, positive psychology, mental health and psychological well-being, counselling processes, and educational measurement with a focus on “Big Data” research. Our commitment is to conduct innovative research that not only advances theoretical knowledge but also deepens the understanding of educational and psychological processes. As a distinguished department in teaching and research among tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, we dedicate ourselves to maintaining high standards in both domains and stand ready to serve the community with our expertise.
