Introduction
Dr. Kathy Wong has been working as a professional consultant at the Faculty of Education in the Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2021. Dr Wong obtained her bachelor’s degree in Canada, her post graduate certificate in Psychology, master of social sciences (educational psychology) and doctor of psychology degree from the University of Hong Kong. She is an Educational Psychologist in Accredited Register, and a member of Hong Kong Association of Educational Psychologists.
During her early career, Dr. Wong served as an educational psychologist for different schools and NGOs, provided psychoeducational assessment and intervention for children, and training for teachers and parents. Her research interests lie in children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
