Our Research
Our department consists of colleagues from diverse academic backgrounds and areas of expertise. We uphold a high standard of excellence in research, emphasizing the importance of originality, rigor, and meaningful impact. Our research spans several basic and applied research areas including sciences of learning, educational neuroscience, language processing and development, child and adolescent development, parenting, positive psychology, psychological disorders, counselling processes, and “big data” analyses in assessment and evaluation. Our goal is to conduct pioneering research that contributes to both theoretical knowledge and a deeper understanding of educational and psychological processes. Through our well-equipped research labs, we offer our colleagues and students opportunities to engage in groundbreaking research projects, providing valuable hands-on experience.
Our interdisciplinary collaborations extend across various fields including clinical and social psychology, social work, linguistics, pediatrics, psychiatry, community medicine, and engineering.
