Our Teaching
We offer a comprehensive array of courses contributing to Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE, PGDP, PGDC), Master of Education (M.Ed.), Master of Arts (M.A.) in Professional Educational Psychology, Master of Arts (M.A.) in School Guidance and Counseling, Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), and Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) programmes. Our courses are carefully designed to balance cutting-edge research with local relevance. Beyond teaching the latest developments across various domains of knowledge, we actively supervise students’ research activities, placing equal emphasis on theoretical and practical learning. This approach prepares our graduates to be both effective educators and competent researchers. Our curriculum covers essential areas such as human development, learning sciences, early childhood education, counselling and guidance, positive psychology, special educational needs, measurement and evaluation, and research methodology. Our M.A. in School Guidance and Counselling and M.A. in Professional Educational Psychology programmes also feature a specialized teaching lab, providing practical and supportive environments for students to apply their knowledge and skills.
Our faculty is devoted to nurturing our research postgraduate students, with English as the medium of instruction. We aim to equip our research postgraduate students with the necessary guidance to develop independent and rigorous researcher skills. Our Ph.D. graduates have successfully secured esteemed academic positions at various universities, including Harbin Institute of Technology, Jiangxi Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, New York University-Shanghai, Shaanxi Normal University, Shandong University, Tsinghua University, and Wuhan University of Technology.
