You may have heard about the political situation in Hong Kong on the news. It is unclear how long the situation would last, but the demonstration was concentrated on Hong Kong Island. The workshop venue and the hotel are in a different part of Hong Kong (the New Territories), so the disruption to our workshop should be minimal, if any at all. The commute between the airport and Hyatt Regency by taxi and airbus (please see the travel information sent to you by email earlier) does not involve Hong Kong Island. It is possible that sightseeing near Central and Admiralty on Hong Kong Island might be affected. Other than that, we do not foresee any problems at this point.
