- Registration for the ceremony
Please register for the ceremony at the Registration Webpage on or before 31 October 2022. The Organizing Committee will send out details about the ceremony procedures, seating arrangements and venues for viewing live webcast and admission arrangements for relatives and friends by email in mid-November.

- Points to note on the day of the ceremony
Graduates, family members, or guests are invited to be neatly dressed and attend on time.
- Enter venue
The Faculty will issue QR Codes to graduates before the ceremony. Graduates and their relatives and friends must scan the QR codes and their vaccine pass to enter the designated venues.
- Graduate registration
As there will be a briefing session for graduates before the ceremony, please arrive at the Chapel of Chung Chi College early, put on your gown, and be seated according to the seating arrangement before 1:15 pm.
- Ceremony procedures
- In view of the impact of the coronavirus disease, graduates will not go onto the stage to get the certificates in avoid close contact. Instead, they will stand up at their seats and bow to the officiant when their names are read out.
- After the ceremony, graduates should leave the venue as soon as possible.
- The graduation certificates will be distributed in mid-November, and the details will be announced later.
- Arrangements for relatives and friends to view the ceremony
- All relatives and friends will watch the live broadcast of the ceremony at Yasumoto International Academic Park, Chung Chi College. The Faculty will notify graduates of the details by email before the ceremony.
- Due to the limited seats, each graduate is allowed to bring up to 2 relatives and friends (the attendees must be five years old or above).
- Friends and relatives should be seated at the live broadcast venue before 1:45 pm.
- No parking space will be provided.
- Infection Prevention Measures
In order to maintain public health and avoid any spreading of the virus amid graduation ceremonies, graduates and guests are requested to pay attention to the following:
- For the implementation of the ‘Vaccine Pass’ on CUHK campus, all graduates and guests must meet the vaccination requirements or held a valid medical exemption certificate accompanied by a negative COVID-19 test result.
- Wearing surgical masks at the time.
- Washing hands or using hand sanitizers frequently to keep you free from the virus.
- Measuring body temperature before entering the ceremonial ground or live webcasting venues. Graduates and guests are advised to arrive earlier to avoid a large number of people lining up at the venue entrance.
- Eating and drinking are not allowed at the ceremonial ground and live webcasting venues.
- Handshaking with procession members on stage during the ceremony are restricted so as to avoid any close body contact. Photo-taking is allowed only if surgical masks are worn.
- Those graduates and/or guests outside Hong Kong coming for the graduation ceremony should plan ahead to arrive in Hong Kong and take necessary viral tests and/or undergo quarantine as required by the Government. For the latest measures and arrangements, please visit the Government’s website at https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk.
- If graduates and/or guests have any respiratory symptoms, they should seek medical advice, stay home and avoid attending the ceremony.
- The University will closely monitor the COVID-19 situation in Hong Kong. Should the pandemic worsen, a Virtual Ceremony will be arranged and an announcement will be sent via email and posted on the website in advance.
- Bad Weather Arrangement
If the local Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm Signal is issued by 11:00 a.m., the ceremony will be cancelled.
