Graduation Ceremony of the Postgraduate Diploma in Education Programmes 2024-25



Date: 31 January 2026 (Saturday)
Time: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Venues: Chung Chi Chapel (Ceremonial Venue); Ho Tim Building (Live Webcasting Venue)


  1. Registration for the ceremony
    Please register for the ceremony and fill in the Graduate Survey at the Registration Webpage (https://cloud.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/webform/view.php?id=13695204) on or before 31 December 2025.

    Special arrangement:
    For graduates who rented the academic dress in December 2025 or earlier, Tick Your Gown has kindly extended the borrowing period until 31 March 2026 without additional charge.


  3. Points to note on the day of the ceremony
    Graduates and guests (e.g. family members and friends) are reminded to be neatly dressed and attend the ceremony on time. If graduates and/or guests have any respiratory symptoms, they should stay home and avoid attending the ceremony.
    1. Enter the campus and venue
      The Faculty will issue QR Codes to graduates before the ceremony. Graduates and their guests must scan the QR codes for entering the campus and Chapel.
    2. Graduate registration
      As there will be a briefing session for graduates before the ceremony, please arrive at the Chapel of Chung Chi College before 1:15 pm. Graduates should put on the gowns before entering the Chapel and be seated according to the seating arrangement.
    3. Ceremony procedures
      1. The Organizing Committee will send out details about the ceremony procedures, seating arrangements and admission arrangements for guests by email one week before the ceremony.
      2. Graduates will ascend to the stage and take group photos with the Faculty Dean/ Associate Dean. Graduates must wear the academic dress for Faculty of Education. Those who fail to comply with this requirement will NOT be presented on stage.
      3. After the ceremony, graduates should leave the venue as soon as possible.
    4. Arrangements for guests to view the ceremony
      1. Due to the limited seating capacity of venues, up to two registered guests (the attendees must be five years old or above) can join the ceremony in the Chapel / live broadcast venues. Regarding the seating arrangement, the first 300 registered guests will be allocated to the Chapel, while others will be allocated to Ho Tim Building to view the ceremony via live broadcast. All venues will be free seating for guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
      2. Guests should be seated at the live broadcast venue before 1:15 pm.
      3. All guests will receive a drink in front of the Activity Center after the ceremony. Eating or drinking is not allowed in the Chapel.
      4. No parking space will be provided.
      5. The Faculty will arrange photographers to take photos of the graduates on stage and the photos will be uploaded to the Faculty’s website in February 2026. Graduates and guests will be allowed to take photos in the chapel within 30 minutes after the ceremony. During the ceremony, please do not take photos or video in front of the stage for avoidance of disturbance that may cause to the ceremony.
  4. Bad Weather Arrangement
    If the local Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm Signal is issued by 11:00 a.m., the ceremony will be postponed until further notice.
