Abstract
The methods of natural experiment, scales and questionnaire were used in studying the relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior. The subjects were 144 middle school students aged 12-16. The results of the experiment demonstrated a significant positive correlation between empathic capacity and prosocial behavior. The Empathy Training Series had been designed and administrated to the experimental group, and their empathic capacity was apparently enhanced and their prosocial behavior fostered. This technique has a great practical value in moral education of adolescents.
