The China-U.S. Alliance of College Teachers of Chinese (the Alliance) was established at Xiamen University and successfully held its first conference in 2024. To promote international Chinese language education, explore the principles of Chinese language teaching, and enhance cultural exchange, the Alliance will hold the second conference in Hong Kong on 21 June, 2025. The conference will be hosted by the Centre for Research and Development of Putonghua Education, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), co-organized by the Department of Curriculum and Instruction (CUHK), the Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research (CUHK), and the Chinese International Education College/Overseas Education College, Xiamen University.
