AbstractThis qualitative study aims to find out the degree of teachers' commitment of a subsidized primary school and the factors affecting their commitment. Jennifer Nias (1989) found that a lot of teachers equate commitment with involvement and dedication, they would use commitment to describe a teacher's mental and physical effort. All the 30 teachers of the sample school were interviewed. The findings of the study indicated that most of the sample school's teachers had a high degree of commitment.
