Our mission remains constant: to nurture principled and inspiring educators and leaders, generate impactful research, and contribute meaningfully to society. Our vision is to play a transformative role in shaping education locally, regionally, and globally.

A central pillar of this vision is advancing our academic reputation. We prioritize high-quality, socially relevant research and deepen interdisciplinary collaboration to address emerging educational challenges. By fostering an innovative research culture, supporting our faculty's growth, and expanding our global visibility, we aim to reinforce our position as a leading center of educational research and innovation.

In teaching and learning, we strive for academic excellence by reimagining how we prepare students for a rapidly changing world shaped by digital transformation. By integrating AI, sustainability, and interdisciplinary perspectives across our programs—and by upholding diversity, equity, and inclusion—we create an empowering environment where every student thrives.

We are also committed to strengthening internationalization. We will broaden and diversify our student body, deepen strategic partnerships, and enhance our global presence. In particular, we will continue to expand engagement with partners across the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and Belt and Road countries. Through enhanced collaborations and increased mobility opportunities, we aim to build a vibrant multicultural community and reinforce CUHK Education’s global impact.

Equally, we will continue to drive social impact by engaging policymakers, schools, NGOs, and community partners. Through applied research, strengthened faculty representation, and expanded public engagement, we deepen our contributions to Hong Kong’s education sector and beyond.
