International Conference on Autism and Symposium on Autism Education and Development in Mainland and Hong Kong

Organised by Evangelize China Fellowship Holy Word School and co-organised by the CUHK, the International Conference on Autism and Symposium on Autism Education and Development in Mainland and Hong Kong  under the 'Across-aged Utilization of Technology & Innovation for Social Missions' (A.U.T.I.S.M.), was successfully held on 25 May 2024 in Henry Cheng International Conference Centre, CUHK with the theme 'Alone but not Lonely - Exploring Life Possibilities for ASD'.

 

The Conference in the morning invited experts and scholars from abroad to share their views. Dr. Connie Kasari from UCLA, Dr. Meng-Chuan Lai from University of Toronto, and Dr. Molly Losh from Northwestern University delivered keynote presentations on the latest development in autism research and intervention. The Symposium in the afternoon invited professionals and scholars to share about autism education and development on the Mainland and Hong Kong.

 

Prof. Catherine So, A.U.T.I.S.M. Co-director said, ‘We hope to bring together the strengths of all parties to contribute to the special education circles in both places, which would play a leading role in the industry.’
