Introduction
Dr. Chan is a Senior Lecturer of Curriculum and Instruction at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). With more than 20 years of teaching experience in tertiary teacher education, Dr. Chan specializes in STEM education, particularly in primary science and early mathematics and science education. His research focuses on innovative pedagogical approaches that enhance teaching and learning in STEM disciplines. Dr. Chan has actively published in international journals such as the British Journal of Educational Technology and the International Journal of Mobile Learning and Organisation. His research has also been presented at leading conferences, including the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting.Beyond academia, Dr. Chan is committed to public and social service. He serves as a committee member for the Education Bureau (EDB) on the primary science curriculum, a course consultant for HKU SPACE, and a course advisor for the Federation for Self-Financing Tertiary Education. Through his work, he strives to bridge research and practice, supporting educators in implementing effective and engaging STEM education strategies.
