“I started my study in The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 20 August 1999, and I graduated on 20 August 2002. This coincidence has made it easy for me to remember the special day. After spending three wonderful years in CUHK, I returned to work in China. Although more than 10 years have passed since I left CUHK, I still miss my time there. Looking back, I have learnt tremendously from the warm and supportive intellectual environment, and I felt stable and secure because my PhD study was fully funded. So I always ask myself: what can I do in return?”
