1. What are the admission requirements for the Bachelor of Arts (Early Childhood Education) Programme?

You should:

  • have obtained a Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education and
  • have attained an acceptable level of proficiency in the English and Chinese languages.

2. If I am currently studying the Higher Diploma Programme in Early Childhood Education at a recognized post-secondary institution that will be completed in June, am I eligible to apply to the programme?

Yes. If you are short-listed and pass the interview, you will receive a conditional offer. Applicants with a conditional offer will be admitted to the Programme after satisfying the condition(s) specified in the Letter of Conditional Offer.

3. What criteria will be taken into consideration when assessing the applicants? And what are their weightings?

We will consider applicants on the basis of their academic/professional qualifications, work experience, objectives for studying the programme, recommendations, entry test result (if applicable), and interview performance. All criteria weight equally.

4. Do all applicants need to attend the admission interview?

Only short-listed applicants will be invited for admission interviews.
