This course is part 1 of an independent study which offers a chance for students to carry out an in-depth investigation into one self-chosen topic in Values Education. The study can be in the form of a conceptual inquiry, a case study, an action research, qualitative or quantitative studies, etc. In this part, the course taker explores into one problem of Values Education under guidance of a supervisor and is required to submit a research proposal or a paper of literature review for endorsement on or before a deadline set by the supervisor. This course is a pre-requisite for taking MAVE6502.
